Although my career path hasn't been the most straightforward and I am still at the beginning of my journey as a designer, I have a varied background that I believe has prepared me for my next role as a designer in a unique way. 

At the beginning of my degree program at University of London, globally known for its focus on creativity and innovation, I was unsure which sector of technology to pursue. Following my strengths and interests, I ended up focusing on Web and Mobile Development, with my final project centring around Interaction Design. Prior to that, I had also completed a year of a Product Design course at university level.

I have a great interest in a broad variety of topics, systems, and technologies, and I am continuously improving my design, technical, and non-technical/soft skills. My years of experience in the finance industry as well as running my independent pet care business over the past couple of years, working in direct contact with customers, has enhanced my ability to operate under pressure and under tight deadlines. I enjoy working on projects on my own but also in a team where everyone is collaborating, inspiring each other and doing their best. I consider myself to be a creative thinker who's always willing to learn new skills and gets along with everyone by being flexible and empathetic while still communicating my views.

I also believe my childhood and youth in a Nordic country has given me an appreciation and an eye for simple design with emphasis on functionality and practicality which I think good design is all about, and I hope to embody that philosophy in my design career.

Aside from design, I enjoy travel, music, photography, and being outdoors.
